DC counts as the major city for the Maryland/Virginia area. Plus there's the Ravens which arent that far away, either. Then the Panthers nearby to the south. Why would they need another team in such close proximity crammed in? Look at other markets like San Antonio, LA, Oklahoma, Iowa....there's lots of football hotbeds that are a lot further away from a lot more teams.

nevada doesnt, alaska, hawaii, new mexico, alabama, montana, were not alone, but why send a team to virginia, what have these people done?

A better question is, why doesnt Los Angeles have a football team.??? God dont we LA people miss the raiders and Rams. haha.
