I have a Toshiba Satellite, which currently has an ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9000 IGP video card, which is barely capable of keeping up with The Sims 2.

I want to upgrade it to something that will run The Sims 2 to it’s full potential.

What would be a good card?

Ok, so CAN it be upgraded, and if not, is there anything I can do (not over clocking) to improve the performance?

Unfortunately, notebook graphics cards cannot be upgraded. Sometimes you can buy particular brand-name models like Dells or Toshibas with different graphics options like Mobility Radeon X1300 or X1600, or GeForce Go 7900 etc- but these options can only be changed by the manufacturer at the factory.
