I am 9 weeks pregnant and for over a month i have had horrible nausea. It seems to be getting worse everyday, and now i can barely eat. I have never vomited just feel like it all day every day. Does anyone know any medicine for nausea that is safe for a pregnant person to take?
thanks!

I had terrible nausea until the day I delivered! I asked for ZOFRAN, quick dissolving tablets, to help with my nausea since none of the over the counter or home remedies worked for me. It works quickly, with in a minute of putting it your mouth, without any side effects. BUT please make sure you ask your doctor if you can have it so soon in your pregnancy. I started taking mine when I was 3mos along & had no side effects to my daughter.

anything ginger, suckin on peppermint disks, crackers BEFORE you get out of bed. also if your stomach feels sick then makee sure you have just a lil bit in your stomach. I never threw up but hell if I was sick for a good 5 weeks. Lucky then didnt start gaining weight til after week 13 and yikes not to happy now! Just make sure not to rise to fast, that will make you sick too, dont drink too much water on an empy stomach.

Good Luck!

If it gets really b ad ask your doctor, I was prescribed Phenergan and when that didn't work, my doc put me on a different but I can't remember the name of it. Anyway, I took these for the first 5 months and my babies were perfectly healthy. Ask your doctor though, everyone is different.

i'm probably unlucky to get nauseous even after being 17 weeks pregnant. *sigh* pickles are my favourite whenever i feel like vomitting. try those pickled cucumbers, the ones you can find in hamburgers. they work for me and alot of my pregnant friends too.

I usually only needed preggo pops (can be bought at motherhood stores in the mall) , ginger, or flat coca cola brand coke but I found this for you if those don't work.

Try seabands, they totally worked for me. they are safe just bands for ur wrist that have a ball for putting pressure on ur pressure points. buy them for ur pharmacy or have them order them about 6bucks for two. works great wish I would of found them at the start of my nausea.

Ginger is good for nausea. When my friend was pregnant, I got her these spicy ginger chews and whenever she was nauseous she'd have one and it seemed to help. Ginger ale is also helpful or anything fizzy (whatever your preference of soda).

Congrats and good luck.
