I recently changed my sink from a single bowl to a double and put in a garbage disposal and now when i turn the disposal on it just floods the other side with the chopped up food!! I tried snakeing the drains and did not help what do i do????

If you have an older home, the pipes inside the walls have a build up of ****. With that build up, the water can flow easily, but putting small bits in, it will just plug it up. The drain will have to be snaked even more til you clean out the pipe completely.

You don't give much information? In the first place, the disposer goes into the side that the drain is on, did you do this? I think maybe not.
This is the only problem that I can think of unless you have something stuck in the drain. Try using a hex wrench on the screw in the bottom center of the disposer.
