My boyfriend uses drugs, which is something I am very against. He lied to me about it up until a month ago, and I knew all along that he was lying. He orders drugs online and pays extreme amounts (hundreds of dollars). He's really sweet but I just can't get past the drug use and how he lied about it. Our one-year anniversary is in 2 weeks. Part of me really wants to break up, but part of me really wants to stay together. Any suggestions?

BTW, he's not addicted to anything. He uses them once or twice a month, unless he's lying to me about that too.

Also, I have lectured him many many times about drug use and have expressed concern not only because it's wrong/illegal, but for his health. He could easily overdose or have a "bad trip" and get hurt. Whenever I bring it up he gets angry and tells me to stop talking about it.

Drug addiction is really bad and not justifyable. Drug addicts are generally seen lying. This is just a consequence of addiction.
If you think the guy is really good in other aspects, then you should give a try to help him come out of it.
I'll not recommend that you should continue with him till end of the world but you should make a serious attempt to bring him out. If he is a unrecoverable case, then I would say just forget him and start fresh. Good luck !

What does your heart tell U?! I would hated if my boyfriend lied to me about doing drugs i would say i'ts over if he continues to do that so I don't know it's really up 2 u, and think about it after those anniversaries he coul dprobably end up like my uncle when he married my aunt and he started 2 beat her up becuz he kept on doing the drugs nd it also got worse, like; cheating on her, being abusive, making a habbit of it, sleeping with other women, and lieing was one of the worst things. But Goodluck!!!

not sure what drugs he is ordering on line, but if its just supplements for working out i don't think its a problem, but if its prescription drugs then i would think he is using them more than a couple times a month, and if not he will be in the future. i would suggest he stop and if not you have no choice but to cut the relationship, addicts usually learn through the school of hard knocks, they have to realize what they lost before they fully understand the consequences of their actions.

he obviously is not ready to quit the drugs and the more you nag the more it'll push him away. you can not help someone that does not want to be helped. I say leave him because druggies will never make a good lover.

Threaten him...say u'll leave...if he really loves you he will see how strongly u feel about it...and quit his stupid habit...or when he tells u to stop talking about it...DONT....dont back down from him ....this is a proper reason for a girl to nag....so be a girl and nag the mess out of him...lol...no really tho...or u can cry and since its been so long im sure it hurts him to see u cry
