how do you create animated pics?

can someone please give me a quick summary of how to create the animation in something like this

i have photoshop and i thought that was a program people used and im pretty sure u can animate stuff with it im just not sure how

You need a graphics program to do this. I've used Jasc's Animation shop (they should still have a free trial on their site). The file is a .gif. It's basically several photos saved on an animation strip and it plays it in a line based on your settings. Try googling "Free Animation Software" to see if anyone out there has freeware, trials, or the like if you do not want to fork out so much money for a program like that.

Making animation is not a difficult work. The animation which you have linked is very simple, Don't you remember how kids make moving object on a note book.


Ok the best and easy way to make an animation is by using free utility of Microsoft. You just have to insert image then set speed and other setting

I really wish i could help you, cuz i got the program to do that for free a while back, but i forgot the site i got it from. And yea, the program i got did that and was FREE to download. Ill try and find out where i got it though.
