The war in Iraq was waged on false pretenses. Bush said I raq had WMD(weapons of mass destruction). Which were never found. He said that Saddam is helping Bin Laden. He said that there were terrorists in Iraq(there are now that we invaded).

First, it was never intended to be a war on Iraq. The initial military action was intended to remove Saddam Hussein, for a variety of reasons, and give the country back to the Iraqis.

The benefit to America would primarily be a more stable Middle East. This benefit would be shared by much of the rest of the world, all of which is threatened by Radical Islam and by the violence which has been directed not only at the United States but at Israel, Russia, Saudi Arabia, and other countries.

Unfortunately the Iraqi people have not been able to resist or prevent the insurgent activities which have primarily threatened them but have also been directed against the American and other coalition forces in the area.

Saddam was known to have used chemical weapons and was generally believed to be trying to acquire or develop nuclear weapons.

He conducted operations against the Kurdish minority in Iraq and invaded a neighboring country, Kuwait. He did not cooperate with the terms that ended the 1991 Persian Gulf War.

Thanks to G W Buhs's greed for oil
The president who staged the first preemptive strike in the history of the United States of America using the sole justification that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.

Later, when no wmds were found, he fiddled with terror alerts, implied connections between Iraq and 9/11, changed the definition of the word "liberation" to "invasion", and generally deceived the American people.

George Bush constantly encourages misconceptions about the war on Iraq and John Kerry, possibly because he does not understand these things himself.

If you disagree, tell me, why DID we go to war with Iraq? Don't just say why we should have gone, or what makes sense to you (i.e. Saddam Houssein was a dictator, find out exactly what George Bush told us.

hes also a total tosser who goes on about Muslim extremist's being the root of all evil, when he is himself a Christian extremist, and things are made a billion, billion times worse by the fact that he is president of the USA, he has one of the biggest armies in the world under his control and he has his extremelly itchy finger just waiting to push 'the button' and start a nuclear war.

Hi, well the media has strewed that one all out. Actually its the war on the Taliban and terrorists. It's better to fight them over there than do it here. We are not at war with Iraq We are at war in Iraq with Mu slums on a jihad. The media doesn't ever say really how many of them we are killing every day, cause the media is mostly controlled by the left wing liberals. The fact is we are keeping the war and tying them up over there so it's tougher for them to carry out there terror here. We are forcing them to use ammunition, explosives and resources up in hopes to make them weaker. If you don't believe me, well... how many terror attacks have we suffered in the USA since we've been there?? I'd say our troops are doing a fine job, wouldn't you??

1988: A chemical attack against the Kurdish village of Halabja kills 5,000 people in one day during the Anfal campaign. The attack is carried out under the command of General Ali Hassan al-Majid, earning him the moniker Chemical Ali.

There is not one single reason but there is just one single cause...
Our president is hooked with 911 rum, it's a little stronger than 151.

We liberated an extremely oppressed people from the evil dictator Saddam Hussein. He also had WMD's, remember how he gassed the Kurds with chemical weapons, causing about 180,000 people to die? He committed genocide for Christ's sake. As for the WMD's, he had more than enough time from when he first received warnings from the UN up too the time we went in there, to hide or move his stockpile.
