Chris Benoit was my favorite wrestler. I could not believe it when i heard that he died let alone killed his family. I knew Wrestling was fake all along but it is just the entertainment. it has changed my mind about it because there has been quiet a few wrestlers who have died recently not just Chris Benoit.

There has been many tragedies over the years, some accidental, some drug-related - but nonetheless there have been many times where I have (metaphorically) worn a black-armband.
I have acccept the fact that due to the nature of the business that these things happen (even though the drugs really should have been taken out of the equation by now, have the drug-trials in the past not taught anybody anything?) - I have been a wrestling fan for many years, seen a lot of people (some of them great wrestlers) die and I am still here watching as the show goes on.
Therefore, the situation with Benoit can not change me, even though this does seem to have been one of the worst cases.

Get real, it's an isolated incident that had nothing to do with steroids. Benoit was hopped up on GHB. Yes, steroids were in the house but none were found in his system.
To say Chris's actions affect my wrestling watching habits would be the same as saying O.J. killing two people affects football. The only thing that's pissing off wrestling fans right now is the media's delayed pickup on it. It was known on Monday that Benoit and his family were dead, although no autopsy reports or causes of death were known. Naturally, since it's not something that could potentially slander wrestling, the media stayed silent about the death of a man and his family for twenty-four hours, and then tuesday morning the networks explode when the causes of death are released. "Benoit's on steroids!" was all you heard for three days, when any half-whit could tell you that a roid rage doesn't stand the durration of time Benoit took killing his family.
Let's play devil's advocate though, let's say that it was the umpteenth case of substance abuse causing a death, it still wouldn't sway me from watching. When Mike "Crash" Lockwood died I saw no blip in the ratings, when Hawk died, I saw no decline in the Neilsons, and even when Mr. Perfect himself was found dead in his hotel room, no one seemed to sway from their watching habits. People die because of their profession's demands every day, whether it be a stress-induced heart attack, cancer from asbestos, enducing vomiting or starving yourself to lose a few pounds as a model, or taking steroids to relieve a pressure put on you by your boss to look like a main eventer. The world's pretty screwed up, kiddo's, it ain't just wrestling.
I ask you this, if your co-worker or classmate murdered his family and then was promplty arrested for the charge, would you quit going to work or school? No, because that kid's actions had nothing to do with school. Chris Benoit's actions had nothing to do with wrestling, so why stop watching?

No, not at all. I think that the Benoit family's death may put a blemish on the face of pro wrestling, but wrestling has a history of tragic and shocking events. This will be remembered as a sad occurrence, but in no way will affect ticket sales or viewership. Wrestling fans are pretty loyal and while it saddens me to hear of this, it will not make me stop watching.

No, it doesn't changed my views but a doctor is someone who is supposed to help you not hurt you. If Chris went to him that Friday for more steroids the doctor should have said I'm not writing you another prescription when you should still have some from the last prescription. If Chris was hooked on them he should have got help but the doctor shouldn't have wrote him another prescription.I still like Chris and really miss him. I loved his entrance music too but you can't help someone who won't help themselves. I think the doctor helped him die by giving him the prescription.

No, it hasn't changed my opinion of wrestling, it's still the same: They're all a bunch of drug heads, and Vince McMahon is a scumbag who just wants to make money. And their so-called drug testing program is a JOKE. They said Benoit passed his drug test. Yeah, right. They are all on steroids. And what exactly was Benoit doing with that 10 month supply of steroids he was getting every 3 weeks?? Was he giving it ALL to his little boy????
