Mine does...there's an old dark room for photography down there...very scary.

I wish I had a basement so I could store my junk in there, but I don't want one that would remind me of the Silence of the Lamb movie...
So I don't have a basement but I have the creepiest crawlspace under my house.
You can't even stand in there (I guess that's why it's called a crawlspace).
You open that little wooden door and you are greeted by a spiderweb as big as the door with huge spiders and little one running around, enjoying daily great meals by eating the other critters in there.
You only go there if you have a problem with the water heater or something, armed with a broom.

Yes my basement is very old and made of dirt and stone walls. When you go in alone you always feel like you are being watched and at any second something is gonna jump out and get you. If you take a recorder into my basement and talk into it, it will say something totally different when you play it back and in someone elses voice. My whole house is creepy, thats one reason I don't sleep at night.

Indeed. my house DOES have a creepy basement, according to most people. It's old, with stone walls and I keep all my tarantulas down there.

Yes it does have a creepy basement and was used as a grow op at one time. (Unknowing to me, until after I moved in)
