wasting years in an abusive relationship changed me for the better when it ended. i'm much more stronger now than i have ever been , and have learned so much about myself and everything else. i have a whole different outlook on life . while i wish the relationship never happened, i'm glad it did because if it didn't i wouldn't be the person i am now

Being in a bad marriage at an early age that lasted longer than it should have made me a cold bitter ***** up until last year when I met the man of my dreams that I wish to spend the rest of my life with.

Aside from that having been abused in that marriage made me a stronger person cause I'll be damned if any man will ever walk all over me again..

I was talking to my boyfriend about this yesterday. It would have to be the way my parents are as parents, the way they treated each other and me (not physically abusive), all the robberies I've had to experience, back stabbing people, stalkers, etc. If it wasn't for those things I think I would have been a nicer, less angry, and more trusting person.

when I was younger, I raised hell, then I met my wife and I changed my ways. She gave me something to give a **** about life, she changed my life. If it wasn't for her I'd probably be in prison or six feet under, by now.

I lived on my own since 16 and I have been bitter ever since. I learned not to trust anyone but myself.
