i've been told that i'm color blind, read: i could not identify colors. am i?

The most common form of colour blindness seems to be red-green. I have a friend who is red-green colourblind and he cannot distinguish between the two. Apparently everything is a brownish colour to him.

He has no trouble with traffic lights though because he just goes by their position on the stick.

I agree that you should see an optician if you are worried.

It sounds like you may be, but an ophthalmologist has a test you can do to be sure. Do you SEE different colors? Or do you see only shades of gray? There are different kinds of color blindness. Do a search for color blindness to see. One to try is www.toledobend.com/colorblindness.

Yes there are people who are color blind. When I was a teenager I had a girlfriend who's father was color blind.

Colorblind doesn't mean you can't perceive any colors. The name is misleading.

There are many different shades of color blindness, from complete color vision deficiency (only shades of gray) to very slight ones. You might like to try one of the tests below to learn more about it.

Yes, most men are color blind to the color green, that is why they add blue tint to the traffic signals, it's more common than you think.

yes there is a person who is color blind they can not see the brown on a white piece of paper

If you can't identify colors, you're color blind. It is a real disease/disability.

i'm giving you a action picture star in view this is a question that merits understand. no longer many human beings could think of of this. Blind human beings experience issues we won't be able to. i could describe crimson because of the fact the solar=warm orange=fruit, scent could be reliable to them yellow=a lemon. yet another reliable scent green=grass, sense and scent of shrink grass blue-the sea, the texture& sound of waves, scent the salt air lavender, pink= i could have them scent the lavender flower I strengthen lavender & it smells remarkable white= sheets wish that facilitates

If you can't distinguish colors you might be. Consult a doctor for testing.
