hi well im 13 years old and i live in sydeny australia im a very keen student that loves to act i act in my school spetacular and am a true kid in my school's drama club. My frends and family think i am one the funniest things ever as i can tell jokes and do stand up comedy, and as in my area there are no outside school acting classes, drama clubs so can you please try to help me with some information on how to become more known to the public as acting is my dream!!!!!

Find an agency or ask your parents to. Send them a letter telling them about your experiences in acting and info. But you should get more experience in acting first. For example, audition for local plays or shows.

As an actress myself I can tell you that it is a really tough business and if you go at it alone you are setting yourself up for defeat. Your best bet is to find an agent in your area that will represent you. Have your parents help you to locate one that is legitimate and best for your needs. Make sure that your parents are with you on this because you will need their help. Finding an agent to represent you can help you so that you will be informed of open casting calls in and around your area that are looking for your category of performing. I don't know about Australia but where I live I found my agent on www.sag.org
you might also be able to use a phone directory.

for me.. do all the bset you can.. try auditioning to all TV companies and try to practice your acting skills in your own way.. and you have to be good looking and in good shape,
try to watch some comedy acts of Jim carrey, Rob Scheneider, Ben sTiller and many more.. observe how they can do funny stuffs.. and be yourself.. and be full package actor.. be a drama,action,comedy actor. God Bless and Believe in yourself..

im not sure if there is actually certain things you can do to make your way there. i would reccommend always taking opportunities, not burning bridges, making lots of friends and contacts (because its who you know sometimes that gives you the edge) and constantly being in more performances and things of that nature to make yourself better. but if it is truly your dream then dont give up on it! thats the most important thing!

Not sure about the USA, but in the UK, Agents commission is usually around the 10-20% mark.
