I read an article about it and it says there is over 100,000 of them registered on Stormfront.org and that every 13 days or so 1,000 more people sign up. Do you actually think that WNism will be a major political scene or will it fail?

OK. White (non-Hispanic) people make up 69.1% of the population. The current population of the US is 301,139,947 (estimated as of July 2007). That would number the white population of the US at approximately 208,087,703. 100,000 of them (according to your unverifible source) belong to the White Nationalist organization. This would equate to .04% of the entire white population of the United States. Do you think that a group that is 4/100 of 1% of the population is a political threat or will have an impact? Give me a break. This is sensationalist tripe. These guys are statistically insignificant.

What the media will not focus on is that it is estimated that there are 6,700,000 Muslims in the United States. The Pew poll found that about 26% of the younger Muslims supported suicide bombing against civilians. 9% of the older Muslims agreed. So for the sake of making it easy, lets say that 9% of the Muslim population supports suicide bombing (to some degree). This would mean that the number of Muslims that support suicide bombing is over 600,000. That is 6 times the number of White Nationalists in the entire country that you seem so concerned about. Of the 6,700,000 Muslims in the United States, 47% of them put their religious affiliation above nationality. 5% of those surveyed had a "very favorable" or "somewhat favorable" view of Al Qaeda. That is over 335,000 or 3.35 times the number of people who are White Nationalists. Sure, I'm concerned about racist extremism as much as the next person (my wife is Asian). However, I'm more concerned about the fact that the media likes to sensationalize this issue while ignoring the Pew Poll numbers, which are of more concern but are not reported because of political correctness gone wild.

Jimmy J is a smart man.. Think about it for a second and remeber where you found this info. The Liberal dominated media puts these things out there all the time and attaches them to Republicans trying to make anyone pro Bush look like a gun crazy red neck that wants to chain minorities to thier trucks and drag them down the street. Obviously those people exist, .04% of the population. But do you think they vote? Or give a **** about political division?
Jimmy is wrong about one thing though. They sadly are a politcal influence as they've got people talking and will inevitably alter people's party perceptions and in the end thier decision on who to vote for. And as we've seen .04% and it impact on voters might make or break a campiagn run so closely run as the last couple. The politcal parties will through any amount of sh!t at the wall to see what will stick.

In actuality, that number is incredibly small. In the end any plots that they have come up with will fail. Completely and utterly. They do not have any real power. I know the world isn't in some heavenly fantastic state or anything right now, but please have a little more faith in the human race that most of the world has evolved since WWII. Think of the last, straggling bit of white supremacists versus the rest of the word as Neanderthals versus Cro-Magnons. They will die out, without knowing success.

It will ultimately fail because it is antithetical to Constitutional values. The country can't claim to be the champion of democratic ideals and the equality of all men and then support the racist aims of a group of supremacists.

Because the Unites States is a backwater society that promotes ignorance, intolerance and fear. America's elite has the middle class at the throats of the poor, the have's against the have nots.... blacks against whites, conservatives against democrats...churched against unchurched, educated against uneducated.
It's the politics of division... and the U.S. has been running on it for generations.
