My boyfriend moved away, what should i do?

Me and my boyfriend have been together almost 2 years. and engaged since valentines day. Well it all started a month ago when my boyfriend moved to wyoming. He told me the reason why he was going there is bcuz he's always wanted to go there ever since he was younger and theres a job there where he can make alot of money. Its been over a month now since
he's been gone and its driving me crazy not getting to see him. All i do is stay depressed bcuz i was so used to being around him all the time and another thing that makes it hard is bcuz he was pretty much my first true love. He told me before he left that he will be back in november. Theres alot more to this story but i dont want to write all of it, i just need a little advice on what i should do to pass time until he gets back or if i should find someone else?

If you are even thinking of finding someone else, it means it is time to call off the engagement. He is your first love, but obviously not your true love. Don't go looking for someone else, but do get out and enjoy your life without trying to hold onto a relationship for its own sake!

Dont find someone else, he said he'd be back in November. I think that while he's gone, it you dont look so good right now. You should get in shape, an dress all pretty for him, to surprise him, and he'll be happy. But if thats not the case, you should hang out with your girl friends, play sports,or do something really fun, that you have never done before.

Only find someone else if he doesn't return in November, and he doesn't have a good excuse.

In the meantime you need to start finding yourself again. Go out with your friends, and find a hobby to keep you busy. Catch up on your reading, learn to salsa etc.

This is an opportunity for you to have some fun while knowing that your boyfriend is there for you at the end of it.

Trust me, long distance never works out. But in your case, him saying he'll move back in November, I'd try it. Its hard, but you just have to pull through. If he decides to stay there for good, you definately need to end it and move on before you get anymore hurt.

long distance relationships suck.

the only way both of you are going to get through it is communicating. It helps if you both have standards andexpectations and you tell them to eachother.

for example, is it ok for him to go on social dates with other women in wyoming, or for you to go out etc. how often should he call you, or you call him.

its better to get these rules out in the open then leaving them unspoken and winding up feeling angry or heartbroken becasue of something the other one does.

as for keeping busy, you can't have had a boyfreind all your life, time to meet new people and do new things.

sounds a little suspicious to me, you need to find out where this is going. talk to him, make sure he intends to marry you when he gets back. did he even ask you to go with him? you deserve to be happy so make sure you are not being messed about!
