If you are going to treat yourself, the best thing I know is to keep Neosporin triple anti-biotic ointment on them, and put a bandaid over them. Change it everyday, clean the cuts with hydrogen peroxide, and put on more ointment. The ointment not only keeps away infection, but keeps the derma moist. A dermatologist told me this is about the best thing to do, that those OTC scar treatments don't really work as good as this does. Also, be sure to keep the wounds out of the sun until they are healed, and use a high SPF even after they heal if you do have scarring.
If the cuts are that bad, maybe you should see a doctor to make sure you don't need professional treatment too.

Wild Indigo liquid extract from Herb Pharm (sold at many health food stores) and Vitamin E (sold at mostly every health food store). Apply both two-three times a day. Try not to apply them at the same time (spread the applications of the Wild Indigo and the Vitamine E out over an hour or more).

Did you scrub them with soap and water?
Apply an antibiotic ointment, and a bandaid or bandage over it. Keep using the ointment until the cuts are closed over.
