Start a petition to put it on the ballot, and let the people decide.
Enough green is grown in Cali, that I highly doubt it would change anything if it where legal, other than making it where they don't have to live in fear of the police, and more police could focus on protecting people from violence.

WE THE PEOPLE of the great state of California, believe that while we are engaged in a war to bring freedom of persecution and liberation from moral policed societies to foreign nations, should likewise, liberate our own people from policies that create moral police actions upon our own nation.
Parents should be responsible for teaching their children the morals they want them to have, the government should not. While parents are instilling the values they want their children to have, the government should be protecting their rights to do so, and protecting them from violence.
This is why we call upon you, the general assmbly of California, to participate in our request to make our great state even greater, by:
- not cluttering up our justice system with cannibas users
- not wasting our tax dollars to prosecute cannibas possessors
- not forcing curious adults to seek out criminals, who would rather see them doing more profitable more damaging drugs, when they choose to experiment with cannibas
- and not using law to help boost the value of cannibas allowing these criminals to make more money off selling canibas than acquiring a college degree.

We call upon you to decriminalize the possession and use of cannibas for consenting adults, and thus give us the power to make our own decisions on a choice that is largely viewed as acceptible by many.
Decriminalizing cannibas will not only boost our state's economy, but also boost tax revenues. Decriminalization will also increase the efficiency of our justice system to fight the crime that greatly interferes with our rights as Americans, improve trust in our government, and reduce unnecessary spending of tax dollars on preventing a widely accepted act.
If you are unwilling to vote in a manner that honors our request to decriminalize cannibas possession and use, or place it on the ballot to let voters decide, then we have no other choice, than to dishonor your request for votes this coming election.

Sincerely,
the people of California

You would have to change Federal law. It would be easier to just move some place that it is legal.

You would have to get the law changed. Sorry not going to happen. And before they start posting it, marijuana and hemp are two different plants. Hemp contains virtually no thc so that arguement won't work.
