Everyone knows you are the 12 year old kid. And no, it is not bad, in fact, if you are 12-15 years old and not masterbating, something is wrong with you. (I say that with a smile) - but seriously.

Until a male has gone through puberty, he will not ejaculate when he masturbates, but about age 12-14, he will discover that he can "shoot" or "***". For guys, this is the symbol of manhood, equivalent to a girl's first menstrual period.
Most teenage males will masturbate about once a day, some much more than others. There is no "normal" - it varies with surrounding stimulation, stress of exams, boredom, amount of sex with a partner, and individual sex drive and desire plus the opportunity. Guys worry, "How much is too much?" Don't worry. You will not hurt yourself, you are not a pervert. Your body will dictate and eventually your brain will be willing but the body weak.
He's fine. It's not bad. It's not wrong... even Little baby boys "play with themselves" instinctively, just like they suck their toes. Go to change their diapers, they make a grab for their penis and hang on for dear life. It is not dirty, it is not sexual, it just feels good, it is comforting, reassuring, all is well with the world.
Hope I could Help!!

If you were old enough to have a 12 year old son you would know the answer to this. No son, it is not bad, it is a natural thing. But it is a private matter.

how could it be bad? would you rather have him having sex? Most boys start in middle school, i was a very curious girl and have asked a lot of guys throughout the years and they all say 12 or 13 is when they started. Make sure he doesn't use the internet, those websites cause major problems for computers. And if he didn't then he would have wet dreams...and if i were a boy i'd rather control my penis and when it squirts.

No, the psychologists and psychiatrists agree that it is normal human behaviour, for around 90% of males, and a lower proportion of females. Many other species of primate masturbate, not just humans. Tell him to stop for the day (or night), if he starts becoming sore, and that it is something that you do in private, unless with your lover. Teach him about sexually transmissible diseases (STD's), and to always wear a condom, if having sex with others. Use your search engine, the Wikipedia, and Google websites.

Well i would take it as a good sign that your child feels close enough to you to talk about this. Most children seem to feel embarrased or ashamed by it. I assume that it is only natural for your child to want to try it. I would just tell them to do whatever, but that it was a private matter, and if they do it, you dont want to know anything about it. Like if he does do it, tell him you dont need to know any details or how it went...LOL..I know that would be a little weird!! Good Luck!

Yes. Masturbation can lead to excessive masturbation, which is a sexual addiction which almost always will lead to worse sexual addictions. If you teach him its wrong he is probably still going to do it on occasion, but not as much as he would if he was just tought that it's fine. If you are christian, muslim, or jewish, the answer is pretty clear on how god feels on the topic of wasting your seed, considering several times in the scriptures he strikes people dead for "spilling (their)seed on the ground"

Absolutely NOT! Its a perfectly normal and healthy action! Its also known as a form of "self healing" from a psychological standpoint.
If youre the parent, and yer son has trusted you enough to share that with you, then i hope you tell him youre happy he came to you and that its perfectly normal, healthy and natural.

NO least he is not having sex. Now a days it is not uncommon for kids his age to try to have sex so i would not worry about the masterbation . Least he is not going out and having sex. I would talk to him about it though. Have a father and son chat. I know it will be akward but i would talk to him about sex if you have not already just incase he has any questions. maybe if you already had the chat and it has been awile maybe you should bring it up again just incase he has questions for you. GOOD LUCK.

As long as all his homework is finished, no one sees him do it, he has no chores to do and he cleans up after himself, it's a healthy thing for young men to do ... it relieves 'tension.' True, we grown-ups never had that kind of 'tension' until we were older than 12; but evolution's crazy-like-that sometimes
