As in whomever has the most corporate backers $$$ and Diebold's (the company making the computerized voting machines where the CEO promised to "deliver Ohio" to Bush) personal support will win be the ultimate "winner" of all presidential elections?

I did miss that election. Are you telling me that Kennedy fixed votes in his favor as well? Please enlighten me on this. Somehow, I find it hard to believe that he had to resort to those tactics being the popular president that he was.

No, at some point, it will be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that the elections were fixed. There are people already who are trying to get us back to the old system of paper ballots. Honest and clean elections will come back into the norm! The only question is how long it will take! *sm*

Seriously, you can't be serious. People dont vote the way you want and so it has to be fixed. it cant possibly be because people dont like the same people you do. No, of course not. It has to be this huge conspiracy because you couldn't have possibly have chosen the unpopular candidate.

If the President was trying to "steal" elections, why is it the only people who were caught fixing votes were Democrats? Why did the voting machines in Philadelphia come with votes for Kerry programmed in? Why is it Al Gore tried to blatantly steal an election that he didnt win one vote in? Why did Democrats have to vandalize Republican offices and vehicles to prevent them from getting out the vote?

You can blame "evil" corporations all you want, but if you are serious I dont want anyone you want ever to be in office cause you are crazy.

Money has equalled votes for long long time. Doubt votes were fixed more like the Dems threw the election. Come on 2000 they had Gore and Kerry in 04 those two are not fit to be dog warden.

I see question marks, but all I read is conspiracy theory being bloviated. You've obviously not read much history. Presidential elections are among the cleanest races held. There is waaaay too much scrutiny to pass with any shenanigans.

Now, if you want to have some fun, try reading up on Mayoral races in heavily democratic cities like Chicago or my favorite Philadelphia. In those cities, it doesn't even matter if you're dead, if they can use your vote, they will.

And I suppose we never put a man on the moon either. It's all conspiracy.

DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE THIS? I feel really bad for you. It must be painful to live in such a world of hurt.

Why can't Democrats get it through their head that their candidates sucked, so Bush won. Al Gore? John Kerry? OUCH!

Give me a good candidate and I will vote for them. Give me a bunch of jackholes, and I vote for the better jackhole.

Just for the record, we should get rid of electronic voting machines, or at least provide a paper traill for audit purposes so that the nutjobs don't feel justified in disputing the results.

Enough!

Al Gore started the legislation in Florida that year AFTER he had already called GWB and conceded. Then he called back and said, "Oops I might win." Then, when he DIDN'T, he blew a gasket and started suing. Bush just defended what the election officials had already determined, which was that Bush had won the presidency.

Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

It has been going on for a long time. It just got a little too visible, a little too messy, in 2000. I'm sure that's all taken care of by now.
