go to or phone the Game and Wildlife Comm. and explain the situation --- take photos and get your friends to write statements that the boat and trailer were abandoned on the property and have become "rent due and liened by you " and are now your property ---- the boat is registered at "Game" office and the trailer is thru the DMV..... you should be nice to all these people that you talk to in these two offices so they will want to help you as this registration is not easy to consider or complete and you need to take patience and time to get this change of title for the boat and probably the best thing for the trailer is to call it "home made" and speed-up the trailer business and not say anything about a previous owner..if you have further questions you can e-mail me.....

a number of those solutions are going to deliver you to reformatory. States are not as stupid as some human beings think of. often a homebuilt trailer license calls which you will supply receipts for issues such because of the fact the axle, to teach you built it and are not in ordinary terms attempting to bypass the regulations. My brother offered a boat and it became precisely the comparable concern. It wasn't stolen yet there became a third occasion who would not help interior the region to get a sparkling identify for the trailer. ultimately the trailer became scrapped and the boat bought to somebody who lived via the water and needed to maintain the boat interior the boat living house without a trailer. So till you reside to tell the story waterfront property i might bypass in this. The little money you save interior the deal will promptly be spent screwing around with DMV.

Put a mechanics lean on the boat and trailer. Estimate the value of boat and trailer against the value of storage. The lean paper work can be obtained at the department of motor vehicles.

Find the owner and let him go with you to the city hall and hopefully he have the title and can get it transfered to you. Or just use the boat and forget all about the title.

Walter Chaos is absolutely right. You have to run this through Game and Wildlife in the state of Texas.

You need to go to the DMV and put in for an abandoned vehicle title. (Department of Motor Vehicles) It may take a bit to get it through.
