You choose how you respond to an upset/disappointment/difficult situation and this reaction made you angry. All the negative self-talk sustains your anger. Once you understand the reason why you’re angry with yourself, then you should try to forgive yourself. We all feel anger. No one is perfect. You might be angry because you said something on impulse and now regret it. Or you didn’t say something and wish you had. What you do with your anger is important. It could help boost your confidence and speak up for yourself. But letting that anger fester won’t help you. Instead of being angry at yourself try to think of something else. Be patient with yourself. Be gentle with yourself and kind to yourself. Just remember: it’s all in your thoughts. The only person who can make you angry is yourself and the only person who can create peace of mind is you too!
