Australia wont lose too much power, there is talented young players in the state competition coming through the ranks.

Phil Jaques may be the new opener, otherwise there is a player in WA that has had a really good season just gone.

the next McGrath will be Stuart Clark

the spinner is Cullen for the future but immediately Brad Hogg.

No Australia will not lose their power in tests after retirements of McGrath, Warne, Langer, and Martin.
Simon Katich,Adam Gilchrist or M Hussey will open in tests.
I believe J Gillespie will be the next McGrath.
Staurt MacGill will be the next leg spinner.
I believe Australia will not be able to find similar class but these players are good enough to win them matches.

Looks like someone has stolen my article, and made a question out of it here..

anyways, I saw Langer, McGrath & Warne's retirement as end of aussie dominance.. not today but on January 4th.

My belief is still the same - Australian cricket will struggle to keep up the dominance. Don't forget, Srilanka team travel to Australia first, who themselves have amazingly versatile bowling with Murali, Vaas, Malinga & Fernando..

I'll be surprised if Australia can NOT LOSE that 2 test match series this November.

It's a fact of life that warrior's grow old, Ooh aah and Co filled the boots of "if Lillee don't get ya Tommo will" and Warne's figures toward's the end didn't match up with the other spinners...even if his compatriot commentators talked up a Warne storm. the real question ought to be wether Hayden should still open.

They will certainly miss McGrath and Warne the most but it's such a balanced team that they will continue their supremacy for some time to come. Right now they are too tough to beat by any team.

Not really. They still have good fast bowlers like Brett Lee and Bracken and possible Andy Bickle, and some good spinner as well. Not as good as Warne but still the are good.

I do not think so, as Australia have a very good bench strength to replace the retired players.
