That is so far back. I'm 66 and I'm lucky if I remember what I ate
for breakfast!! lol We didn't have TV when I was little. The only
cartoons I ever saw were the ones my uncle showed us. They
were so cool. But I think I must have known what was real and
what was imaginary.

no, but I thought that there were teeny tiny people in the radio that played the music, and the dial told them what kind of music you wanted....
Yeah, I was an odd child... I also thought that dogs and cats were the same species- dogs were the boys and cats were the girls... Same thing with horses and cows- all horses were male, cows were the female.... I also discovered "gentleman bugs" to go along with ladybugs (I later found that they were really called box elder bugs- found in Utah, they're longer, flatter than ladybugs, but they're still black-and-red beetles...)

Omigosh yes! So glad to know I wasn't the only one that thought that Mr. Rogers wanted me to be his actual neighbor! And Annie, your post made me just laugh out loud! I thought the same thing--cats girls, dogs boys (Mom always said men were dogs and that was proof enough for me ).

yeah!!!! I even thought cartoons were real and they were like actors . I wanted to meet them so bad at disney.

No, but I had a friend who believed the actors lived inside the TV...I never told her she was wrong!

ya like on the firct season of american idol when they would smile and wave while it showed the # to call i thought they could see me so i like waved back! ha ha good foolish times!
