I'm afraid that one day we might have to, it sounds real scary but I can envision a civil war, maybe a civil war with 3 sides.

I am not afraid of it. I know it will be necessary. It is right now, this very moment as I type to you. Congress, and even the president, who I loved with my whole heart, are failing US, the American citizens. All of a sudden our voices to them are like dust in the wind, especially concerning the illegal trespassing situation. This is intolerable! Are we the people the Power-house of this Nation, or them? WE THE PEOPLE are! Let's take back what is ours, and teach these fools not to underestimate the American People! We will not be ruled, we will not lay down to tyranny, and we will not cower. We have the embodiment, and the genes of our forefathers who MADE America for US!

To a certain someone way above me. It matters not what weapons the government has to try and defeat their own people. More than 1/2 of the military will side with the citizens, against the government. They did in the Civil War, and will do so again, being unable to murder their own brother's and sister's, mother's, father's, cousins, aunts, and uncles! Count on that!

They have no scruples look at the shamnesty bill all the Dems voted for it .Telling us it the best for us ,what a crock.An there out there running for Pres== Not a care on what we had to do to stop them an be heard.An all those people are happy to see them , after they tried to sell us out.This Amnesty Bill is not dead it will be back if the Dems take office.The Rep have no spine,there wimps.To bad we didn't have a 3 choice that could win an would stand up for the people.I guess we need to keep blocking the phones again. till we are heard.

I don't think so. The technology these days is so high tech that even if we did have a war it'd be over real quick. And, you're not going to get enough people to rally with you on that. There's a unity now that there wasn't before. Add to that, what we need is to get good men and women in office to set our country straight. There's lots of problems that aren't being fixed, and we need to join together to elect good people to take care of these things. For instance, the border. We can send a man to the moon, we can find cures for diseases, but we can't manage to build a fence! It's because we have a bunch of gutless wonders in office that won't do anything other than party and take our tax dollars.

and I do not understand how people can say we won't be able to because the oligarchy will have the military at it's disposal

Not everyone in the military is a drone. Many will fight for us

If the people of Vietnam and the people of Iraq can take on the giant U.S. military machine, then certainly the American people can. They can't completely bomb us back into the Stone Age.....we live on top of their profit centers

All us people have to do is abolish corporate person-hood again like it use to be before Reagan. Corporations are not people and have no feelings and there moral values are to profit and shareholders and should have no part in the election process. We will never see a third or fourth party until we get this done.

The 2nd amendments calls for us to have the right to bear arms for the main reason if the government followed agendas that was harmful to our liberty we had the means to fight back.
And to all the nay syaer that claim oh its too sophistocated to fight the huge war machine, look our big bad army cant control Iraq . They have had it and are fighting back in many ways. WHen the mouse is backed into the corner he can be capable of super courage and strength for his last act of defiance.
Give me liberty or give me death.

Can't happen this day and age because in the days of old, the government did not have different weapons from the average Joe. Now, they have jet planes, tanks, ships, satellite recon, drone aircraft, special weapons and more. Joe's .357 and hunting rifle doesn't stand a chance.

People should not be afraid of their government, government should be afraid of the people. their terms should be able to be ended at any time to a popular vote.
