I was told by a DJ that the songs in MP3 format make not work on his equipment. Is this true? And if it is, how can I change the songs so that they will work on this old equipment?

Basically, most old CD players do not support mp3 formats.
In order to convert the format to one that will work on the old equipment, you will need to use Nero (CD burning software)..
basically if you select to burn all you mp3 songs as "Audio" files, then they will play on your old equip..
If you do not have Nero, you can download a free trial from this site:- http://www.nero.com/nero7/eng/nero7-demo.php
And all you will have to do when burning your CD is select "Make Audio CD", and the software will convert the format form mp3 to Audio automatically, and once burning is complete, you will be able to play them on the CD player..
Hope i answered your question well...

There are 2 criterias over right here. a million. what sort of songs are you going to burn (mp3 or audio cd)? 2. no count if it fairly is mp3, is your CD participant nicely suited for taking part in mp3 information. If specific then constructive you could bypass forward. in case you burn mp3 information you ought to burn it as an archives cd so as that the report format stands out as the comparable and you have got almost a hundred and ten+ songs in a million CD based up on the size of the the report. in case you burn MP3 information as audio then the report format gets replaced and you could upload in ordinary terms 8-10 songs based up on the time & length.

It's true - only songs converted into "tracks" will play on old CD players. MP3's are considered DATA - which can only be read by CD-ROM drives.

Almost every single CD Burning program has an option to "Create a music CD" - this will convert the songs into .wav format, which will be used to create the Tracks that a standard CD player will recognize :):)
