Don't you just love how all the people how answer in the catagory usually give helpful answers and how people seem so nice in the horse catagory?
I like it. :) Maybe its because we all have something in common,we all love horses.

That is what I love about horse people! lol! We all have something in common and we are WAY more positive and social then most people! we horse lovers must stick together people!! Unfortunately, I dont own my own horse, but I want to within the next year or so. Ive been riding for a year now. Anyway, It takes ALL my will power NOT to run to the stables every day and spend years at a time there.

What I notice is how much horse people love to TALK! LOL! Whenever I go to answer a question, 10 people have answered before me! And they give LONG answers! In other categories I am sometimes the first one to answer -- not here!
But I think it's great that horse people want to be so helpful. I've been around horses for 39 years and I STILL am learning!

Most horse people[lovers, not those who use it for status] I know are too broke to buy fixes, so we share knowledge. After a while it's a habit. I've found the majority of horse people to be open, giving, honest, hardworking people with big hearts, lots of patience and a desire to help others in any way they can.

I have known a lot of horse people and usually sincere horse people are the best. They really want to help you and your horse.

When someone answers questions in the horse category, they are generally trying to help others with their experience and knowledge by passing on info.

I agree! Most of us are so positive . . . go to any other forum and you'll see all kinds of sickos and nasty answers to innocent questions! I'm glad the horse community on Y! Answers is so nice to one another :) Rarely on mean answers received to horsey questions.

for the most part animal lovers are kind and generous people with the animals best interest in mind. That and we love people that love what we do and want to help them as much as we can

Yeah, I like it to. Though, some people aren't very helpful at times. Like one time I asked a question and this was the answer:
no.
I was like....care to expand on that a little?
nope.
But other than that, people here are very friendly!!
