I have a big blotter calendar and I hang it on the wall. The spaces are about 2 inch square and I can write things in it and be able to see it at all times. It works for me. I call it my memory not my calendar.

A printed out generic one off the web alongside my monthly budget clipped to a board in my "pay bills " drawer of my desk. ( very exotic huh)
