tan x = 10.25/7.75
x = inverse of tan (10.25/7.75)
tan y = 7.75/10.25
y = inverse of tan (7.75/10.25)
tan = opposite/side
cos = side/ hippotaneus (whatever the other part is called)
sin = opposite/ hippotaneus

SohCahToa
Sin = opposite / hypotenuse
Cosine = adjacent / hypotenuse
Tangent = opposite / adjacent
x = angle adjacent to the 7.75 leg
y = angle adjacent to the 10.25 leg
tan x = 10.25 / 7.75
x = arc tan (1.323)
x = 52.91 degrees
y = 90 - 52.91
y = 37.09 degrees
because all angles in a triangle must add up to 180 degrees

Take your friendly trig tables and find the angle that corresponds to 10.25/7.75; that's the larger of the two acute angles. The other is 90-that angle.

Assume you have a triangle with indices A, B and C
the angles of A and B are directly across from the sides of the triangle a and b respectively
C is the right angle and side c is directly across from it.
see web site listed below for a visual
you have the values for a and b
a = 10.25
b = 7.75
using Pythagorean's theorem a^2 + b^2 = c^2 so
c = sqrt(a^2 + b^2)
c = sqrt(10.25^2 + 7.75^2) = 12.85
now knowing the size of the sides and the properties of sine and cosine we can solve for A and B
sin A = a/c => inv sin(a/c) = A
sin B = b/c => inv sin(b/c) = B
A = inv sin (a/c) = inv sin (10.25/12.85) = inv sin(0.7977) = 52.9 deg
B = inv sin (b/c) = inv sin (7.75/12.85) = inv sin(0.6031) = 37.1 deg
verify values A + B = 90
52.9 + 37.1 = 90 degs it works
Hopes this helps

Let these two angles be a & b
tan a = 10.25/7.75= 1.322
calculate a
tan b = 7.74/10.25=0.756
calculate b

one angle is tan inverse(31/41)
so obviously other would be pie/2-tan inverse(31/41) which is equal to tan inverse(41/31)
hope this will help u ]
thankyou
