i heard someone in hitler's family was jewish, specifically his mother....I don't believe it, just wondering if its true

Ofcourse there were speculations about his paternal Grand mother Maria Anna Schicklgruber who had worked as a cook in a household of a wealthy Jewish family named Frankenberger.

No, I have never heard nor read that Hitler's mother was Jewish, nor that any of her ancestors were. There was always a rumor that his father's father was Jewish because his grandmother, (his father's mother) was a maid for a wealthy Jewish family when she became pregnant and was unmarried and there was a belief that the man of the family was the father of her child.

It's never been proven that Hitler had Jewish ancestors. The rumor started because his father was illegitimate. Some people believe Hitler was 1/8 Jewish.
