Is fear the opposite of love?

Light is the opposite of Love.

The reason that this does not appear to be true, is that our observations through our senses of and in this (physical)world are flawed and even if our sense are 'sharp', the "energy" of these two is "distorted" by the time it reaches our senses.

Because the Law Of Love is based upon "magetism" (or the law of attraction) Love is magnettic and pulls two bodies together. When you love someone you are magnetically drawn to them -- just as the planets in our solar system are magnetically drawn to each other via what we call "gravity".

Light is that which "reveals and radiates"

Therefore love is the opposite of radiation which sends forth.

Hence, Light is the opposite of Love

Many believe that "hate" is the opposite of love; however hate has no opposite -- but is simply a feeling that is generated when something interfers, blocks, threatens or denies us "access" to what we love.

I think maybe it is AN opposite (to some degree), although hate is certainly the more concrete expression of the opposite of love ("the" implies that the thing in question is the ONLY thing in opposition) . But, then again, as Socrates once said, "What is love." However, if fear creates racism (due to suspicion and jealousy), and racism leads to hate crimes, genocide, etc. (which it does), then fear could very well be THE source which hate evloves from. It's a good question.

No, fear can be felt in aqqaintance with love, I dont think that when one can feel two things in association with eachother that it is possible for them to be opposite, I would say that hatred is the opposite of love however it is possible to love and hate someone at the same time so I conclude that there is no real opposite of love, feelings shouldnt have opposites, only a somewhat consistant emotional state for the person expressing them.
