You can forgive, but I don't think you can ever really forget, especially if it's something that was really bad.

I think you can possibly forgive, but not forget. It all depends on what type of person you are and if you can let things go that easily. Especially if someone did something horrible to you.

Good evening! In answer to your question, I've learned that forgiveness doesn't mean that what a person did to you is okay, it's not okay! What it is stating is that your "freeing" yourself from that person and no longer giving them "free rent" in your head. As far as forgetting is concerned, I don't know that we ever truly forget but what we can do is learn from that experience and not repeat it or place ourselves in the situation to where it could possibly be repeated...I hope this helps.

Yes I do and how come? there is a science behind forgiveness.
Suppose our mind is like a white board if you do not clean one day there will not be enough space to write.
Same apply to mind, if we forgive/forget we clean our mind from stress and fatigue which most people do not know. Those who do not forgive/forget they carry weight which is not good for health.

Not too much when it involves cheating. After that it is tough to trust and you will truly will never forget. You may forgive but trusting doesn't come easy.
