I believe there is a Heaven and when I die, I will (hopefully) go there. I will have an amazing apartment in the clouds and meet lots of "people." I don't believe in Hell, I just feel that the better you make your life on Earth, the better it will be in Heaven. If you spend all your time preoccupied with material matters and goods, you will live an unsatisfactory life for eternity. Or maybe we are reborn after a while. I don't know, really. I'm just hoping for an awesome time in Heaven eventually!

I am a spirit; I can't die! When the body I presently occupy dies, I don't pretend to know all the details, but I expect to find myself occupying a brand new body. It'll most likely be human, but I can't rule out any species of animal or plant; maybe even a cloud or planet.

I expect to leave behind a smelly rotting corpse and a soul. I doubt if the government will honor my wish, but I prefer to let my corpse be eaten by wild animals and worms, so that its energy and nutrients may enrich the environment.

When I say "soul", I mean all the lingering effects that I had, in this life, upon the lives of others and upon this planet. I believe the soul is separable from the spirit upon death of the body. However, the soul has an influence upon the kind of world I will be reborn into. The soul is very similar to the idea of karma.

If I make life a little more heavenly for those around me in this life, I will be improving my chances of being reborn into a more heavenly situation in the next life. If I make life for others a living hell, I'll just be preparing my own hell for the next life.

I don't know if I will choose new parents at random or if they are likely to be people I knew in this life. I think it's a good idea to make more friends than enemies, just in case they later become my parents.

I accept only the Bible as the authority on this issue. In no uncertain terms it shows that prior to being conceived, we do not exist, and similarly, after we die, we return to non-existence -- the grave, Sheol, Hades, or the KJV Hell.

The Biblical proof for this is found here:

Eventually, the process of cell death will continue until all the cells have died. During this time, many of the cells will deteriorate and begin to decay to a point where those atoms and molecules are freed and released back into the environment.

Biochemical and electrochemical activity will cease. Thought will stop. Dreams will stop. You will likely be embalmed in a primitive ritual that attempts to preserve your body.

I think you become a part of the natural rhythm of the earth and the bigger picture... you decay, rot, turn to dirt, get eroded away, abosorbed by plants, eaten by an animals, used, filitered out and spread across millions of different living things that are using your dead parts like you were using them before you died.

That's a good question, my opinion is that our "Spirit" is put on "Sleep Mode" untill "Judgement Day". We will be unaware of time or events happening around us.

You spend your eternal life in heaven (if you're saved) or you spend your eternal life in hell (if you're not). Accept Christ as your lord and savior, and you won't have to wonder where you will end up! God Bless You!

I'm an athiest and I believe that that's just it. When you die, you're dead and you just decay and cease to exist.
