In all those fairy tales there is always a "bad guy" and the bad guy always ends up defeated (most of the time)
And in the bad guy's mind, he is doing what he thinks is right, and to him that is good.

And you see this in the world too. Hitler did what he thought was right, but ended up hurting alot of people as well as himself.

But what is hurt? Is it something caused when you do something wrong? Because if it is, why do the bad guys always end up hurting the most when they were only doing what was right to them?
So in the end, no one ever loves the villain...but the good guys still seem to "finish last"

Hitler had Eva Braun. But face it Hitler was not the best example you could have chosen. He knew what he was doing was wrong, that is why he sent everyone he disliked to concentration camps. Lives are hurt, people are murdered, don't be so naive. Or are you just stirring the pot to see how many tempers boil? Good guys don't finish last in people's hearts. I lost several family members in WWII and I still remember.

In the bad guys' mind he doesn't always think what he is doing is right......some of those villians know they are SKUNKIE and that their plans will hurt things or other people and they just don't care........they want their desires/dreams met at any cost. Don't rate the villian so 'high'...ever watch the old time silent movies? You can actually see the villian hatch a rotten plan to steal the beautiful rich girls' land and hand............. The good guy will finish BEST in the end but, sometimes it takes a lot of patience for the end to appear!

This makes no sense. The villian is a bad guy, he's doing bad stuff... he knows it's bad too, that's why he ends up getting busted up.

Watch the Broadway play, Wicked, and you'll feel empathy for the wicked witch instead of the good witch.

villain existence is necessary for the good guy to show the contrast...so you may love the villain after you forgive him...
