Yes, for the first 5 months, every morning I would have to brush my teeth twice, once to make myself get sick so that I could brush my teeth and then I could brush my teeth but NEVER my tongue. It was horrible but it did go away.

I had a problem with opening my mouth and brushing my teeth during the first trimester because I would get nausious and vomit. So I just clamped my teeth together and brushed the outside of my teeth until my "morning sickness" passed.

i dont' actually throw up, but i gag quite a bit when i'm trying to brush my tongue. I'm sure it's normal, everything about your body is out of whack when you get pregnant. It's amazing what the body does to create another little person.
Good luck.

Im uncertain the top difficulty of your spouse yet a pair months in the past (I wasnt pregnant by ability of ways) I randomly have been given intense coughs that generally affected me interior the morning and top in the previous I went to sleep and it lasted for like each week and a a million/2. For some reason they could be worse as quickly as I lied down so I had to sleep sitting up and warm tea with honey and/or lemon could oftentimes help. I additionally could eat this jap candy with aloe vera (kinda like what they put in lotion yet its secure) and it could soothe my throat. That worked much greater suitable than cough drops. wish that helped even however i'm no universal practitioner.

I had the same problem during my entire pregnancy. To overcome it I started eating breakfast before brushing my teeth.

I think it's probably because your gag reflex is very strong right now. I'm not sure how to tell you to go about brushing your tongue without causing you to vomit. Good luck though.

I think I had that problem with my first.....I remember something about toothpaste/tooth brushing making me throw up. It was rediculous! The good news is that eventually, like morning sickness, it will go away.

I had the SAME problem for the entire first trimester. My gag reflex was INSANELY sensitive. I feel for you. I really do. Just brush as much as you can, then do Listerine...much more hygenic than throwing up!

I don't brush my tongue at all for that same reason. Pregnant or not, I've always had that gag reflex.
