just wait until your past 20 weeks and you can't move in bed or get off the couch. lol sounds like you're a small person to begin with. Some women don't have to gain weight to start getting bigger, does that make sense? Basically the baby can use whatever fat storage you do have first before you start gaining weight. I was heavier when i first got pregnant and my baby has used most of what i already have before i started to gain anything. I was actually losing weight at the very beginning, so i wouldn't be too worried, you still have quite a ways to worry about gaining weight. Don't sit there and count every calorie you take in because your going to gain whatever your body needs in order to keep the baby healthy. plus if you plan on nursing, you'll lose weight quicker.
good luck and congrats.

I think even though we may not gain weight for a little while our bodies are still getting thicker. I have been reading alot of info on our anatomy and its amazing whats going on inside us while were pregnant. Everything is getting bigger inside as well as our stomach, organs etc are all pushing upwards towards our chests to make room for our baby. I know how you feel though..like I said previously I have lost about 13 lbs now and have never felt so huge in my whole life. (A little could be psychological too)..you know how our mind works girl! Dont worry and just think positive..You are still tiny so youll be fine :) PSSS...as far as the sex thing, youll have to ask someone else cuz that is nonexistant with me right now..LOL

I am 5' 3" too, I am 31 weeks and I am huge...lol. I thought I was bad at 16 weeks, I wish I was that size again...lol. It gets more umcomfortable as time goes on but enjoy you will only be pregnant once with this baby... every pregnancy is different so some people don't show or "pop" til they are six months some show earlier. Good luck and congrats!!!

Wow, I know exactly how you feel! From the time I was about 19 weeks (yeah, but I'm 5'7"...you're probably right about the space being more compacted), that's how I've felt. Now I'm 28 weeks, and I've still only gained 8 pounds, but I'm MASSIVE and covered in stretch marks. Just think...you're only going to get bigger and bigger. How exciting. But yeah, it's a normal part of pregnancy...both the way you look and the way you feel.

Everything is fine. Just remember that you are making a little baby, and this does take some room. Things are going to be cramped for awhile. As far as sex goes, try different positions until you find one that is comfortable with you. Good luck.

That's what it feels like to be pregnant, huge and uncomfortable. That baby is taking up all the room in your stomach, all your organs are getting squished. Imagine if you had twins! And be thankful you didn't turn into a beached whale like most pregnant women do.

Dont worry about the weight thing I didnt gain alot of weight at first but it will come. Your doc should weigh you at every appt. and if he doesnt think its normal thats when its time to worry but right now its normal. And the sex thing - some days it will be the best and some other days you might be like "Please HURRY UP" lol but thats just pregnancy - aggravating I know. Good Luck and CONGRATS!

Everyone gains weight differently. Some gain too much, some too little. But however you are gaining, I'm sure it's right for your baby. Just remember, No 2 pregnancys are alike.

Every pregnancy is different! don't worry about the weight... your healthy and the the baby is healthy. that's what counts. It can be a extremely uncomfortable time for a woman. But sex.....was terrific for me! I was at my most horniest moment! See its different for everyone! But we can agree is amazingly beautiful
