yes. points earning is also a target but if some is satisfied with the answer and it helps him/her find solution-- its good for me. and moreover if my answer is selected best, it gives pleasure also.

I hang out mostly on P&S and most of the questions here are for fun. I answer the ones that make me laugh or that I can see a humorous answer to. If it's a sincere question and I have an knowledgable answer I will share it. I don't do it for the points, the only value of points is to get to a level where you are unlimited on Q&A. That's why I don't understand why the violations fly so fast and furious here. Isn't it just for fun?

for alot of reasons.
1)for the pts(higher the level the more questions you can ask in a day.)
2)i like my top contributor badge...shows people that i know what im talking about especially in golf and basketball
3)i dont have much time in my life to make new friends since i work, golf, hang with my old friends and family....i always liked making online friends they dont judge you as quickly
4)passes the time
5)this dumb site is addicting!
6)its similar to message boards so its like a second language to me haha
7)interesting to see what kind of strange questions people come up with and what kind of strange answer i can give back lol
8)im very competitive so getting best answer fills my hunger to win
9)and of course i like to help people. some people out there really need serious advice which im GREAT at since i seen alot in my 24 years of life.
now you need to email me and tell me why you honestly answer questions!

There is no helping people in this category and I rarely venture out to any other. I'm here for fun. (But I have been helpful at times).

To be honest I do it cuz i love helping people! All my friends say i give great advice and they always come to me when they have problems. And i know people here arent going to believe me but who cares, i help people and i dont need their credability to help people. So i dont care who believes me but i answer to try to help them! =)
