It could also be they type of diapers you are using. When my daughter got the bad raw rashes it was if we switched diapers.
Look for Triple paste. It works great and sit her in the sink with warm water and baking soda in it. That will help.
My circle of friends made our own wipes. Usually one would make and give to the other for a baby gift. Once one of us started using we never switch back. We only bought 'store bought' to keep in the little travel packs. These are so mild and gentle and have no alcohol in them.
Recipe for homemade wipes.
*Round Rubbermaid container, the kind you would put a head of lettuce in .
*Using a small paring knife cut a dime size hole in the top of the Rubbermaid lid
*Buy Bounty Big Roll and using a very sharp knife cut it in half. Set on half in the cabinet for later use.
*In Rubbermaid container mix two cups warm water with two tablespoons baby oil and two tablespoons baby wash; swish around with your hand to mix
*Place one of the paper towel rolls into the water and place on lid. Let sit to soak up water mixture for about 4 hours.
*(I always kept two so that when one was soaking I still had another)
*Once all water is absorbed open lid and pinch the cardboard tube from the middle and remove. It will be soaked and just unwind very easily. Throw away.
*Pull a paper towel by a corner from the inside where the tube was and thread through the hold in the lid. Snap lid back on.
*The paper towel will pull though and snap apart where it is perforated.
Hope this helps. They are nice and soft and mild AND very inexpensive.

You should switch back to the sensitive skin. My kids always got a rash if i would try to pinch a couple of pennies to buy the store brand wipes, but every time they'd get rashes and they wouldn't clear up until I switched back and if I only used the higher brand diapers but i did figure out that LUVs diapers worked the best at the lowest price and that some stores actually carry cheaper store brand wipes that are for sensitive skin

Chances are it's not because you switched wipes, after all switching wipes is not like formula it's okay to do. But it sounds like your child has really sensitive skin. Well, your not alone from the time my son was born I have always had to use pampers sensitive. So that might be what you have to do any other wipes I buy would break him out from huggies to store brand. Luckily for you pampers sensitive is the same cost as the other wipes in most stores. When I had my son they were like two dollars more.

Babies' skin is very sensitive. Try putting some vaseline on the rash, this will form a barrier between her skin and the moisture in her diapers. May want to try changing her more often. Hard to really answer without more details. The rash could be caused from a number of different things. Some babies are just subject to diaper rash. Hope the vaseline thing helps.

When my baby was a newborn I tried not to use any scented stuff cuz they are so sensitive. I just started using the lavender shampoo and body wash and my son is 5 months old. I still use the pampers sensitive wipes and I apply balmex ointment with every diaper change and til this day (knock on wood) he has not develloped a rash.
PS: check the diapers too cuz some babies are allergic to some diaper brands.

I would recommend getting the most natural wipes with no sent to them. See if that cures the diaper rash.
At least in the first few months. As the baby gets older the skin isn't as sensitive.
Also, make sure you give your little girl time without a diaper everyday. Put her on a blanket, and let her air out for about 10 minutes. That will also help prevent diaper rash.

My daughter had the same problem. Use only the sensitive wipes. Your child is probably allergic to the perfumes in the wipes. Try using Aquaphor healing ointment. It's a little more expensive but it works great. We also use sensitive soap and laundry detergent. My daughter is 5 now, so we've had alot of trial and error.

I would imagine the scented wipes would cause a rash. I can't use scented lotions myself b/c it causes itching and a bit of a rash. I would find wipes designed for sensitive skin and that is unscented. Besides, the newborn baby smell is sweet on it's own! :)

I would go back to the sensitive skin ones and see if the rash goes away. Also your baby could be pooing more. Also, it is summer and babies can get diaper rash from the heat of the day. Just some ideas about what is going on down yonder! Congrats on the new baby : )

I don't really use wipes unless he is poo. When my son is pee I just clean him with a cloth and water. Yes, wipes can irritate the skin especially when they have a rash. A week after my son was born, he had a bad diaper rash and I avoided wipes all along... that itself help him get better.
