Yes you can if you prepare your surface correctly. Usually that means a light sanding to take the polish off so that the paint will adhere. If you don't like the idea of losing the luster, just remember you will want to use a high gloss paint and can even use a high gloss sealer over.

I just asked that same question a few days ago. My tile is also yellow. The paint person at Lowes says you can. You need to get a box of TSP to clean it with first. Then after it dries then take a fine grit sandpaper and go over it real quick. Then you need to put a primer on it that is for slick or shiny surfaces. They will tell you what you need. Then you can paint it with any paint. I would then put a sealer over it. Good Luck!

I'd say the best way to go is replacing it. Or you can get it re-glazed. Painting tile, is only a temporary fix. And I consider painting in an area where it is prone to high moisture, and steady water contact a bad mixture. In the long run it's easier to just replace.

they have paint that will cover tile. You will have to sand the top of the tile a little to give the paint something to stick to but it is out there. any paint or home store should have it or know where you can get it.

It can be done with good results. Go to Home Depot and ask the guys there. They'll suggest the pain for you. Make sure the tile is clean or it will peel.

You have a slick surface that you could paint but it will scratch right off. So no.
