You most likely have a defrost drain system that navigates through the fresh food compartment and is plugged so the water takes the path of least resistance and goes down the back wall and ends up under the crispers. Some old GE refs directed the water to a trough under the crispers and then exited a hole to the drain pan underneath. If the hole got plugged water would accumulate in bottom of fresh food compartment. Check to see if in the back of the fresh food compartment in the back at the top is some sort of obvious drain cup from the freezer compartment then remove and clean out. A lot of Whirlpools and Kenmores some years ago had these cups that plugged and you just pulled it out and cleaned the plug and no more water in bottom under crispers.

I take it that crisper drawers are where you put all your vegetables at the bottom of the fridge rather then the freezer.

Its probably comeing from condensation running down the insides of the fridge, look up the insides, is there condensation all the way up? Its possible its just dripping down and pooling in the bottom.
Is there any condensation on any of the things in the fridge?

The only thing I can think of that could think could be causing this is either the door is open for a lot of the time or it doesnt shut properly.
Its probably caused by the warm air from the outside hitting the cold walls and things in the fridge and condensing, just like on the shower doors or bathroom windows when you have a hot shower.
Make sure the door shuts properly and it remains shut and it should be ok, if not, I recommend you get a new fridge because its not the best place to be storing food.

Nothings leaking, if it was it wouldnt be water.

The port to your evaporator may be clogged with dust or debris. Pull the bottom drawers out and look for a small hole in the floor of your fridge. Depending on the size of the hole will determine what you use to clear the blockage.

Also your dehumidifier in the fridge may not be working properly. Do you have a build-up of ice or frost around the inside of the freezer? Try defrosting the fridge and mop out the standing water. Turn the fridge off and protect your cold and frozen food against spoilage in a cooler. You can do a quick defrost by using hot water from the kitchen sink in a pan. When the pan cools down replace the hot water. Close the freezer liner (door) while doing this. There will be more water from the fridge as the ice/frost in the freezer melts.

Google or Yahoo refrigerator trouble shooting. Some times you'll find something in one of these.

Good luck!

If your reefer has a frost free freezer, it automatically defreezes once or twice a day. The condensed water go down to the bottom of the reefer and into an orifice through a tube and ends up in a plastic pan in the bottom of the reefer where it eventually evaporates. I suspect that the orifice in the bottom of your reefer is clogged up and does not allow the condensate to go down the tube. Try clearing up the orifice and the tube.

The drain hole below the cooling plate at the back of the fridge is blocked. there could be a small aluminium plate with slots cut in it, covering the hole. Lift that out and I use that flexible curtain wire to clear it.

I agree with many on the possibility of a clogged drain but you should also make sure that the door seals are in good shape.

This could be due to several reasons;
1. if you have kids or are in the habit of leaving the door open it could be due to condensation
2. Maybe somebody spilled something.
3. The muleon seal is got a hole in it.

check the drain at the back wall inside the fringe. They sometimes get clogged with dirt or ice even.

Could it be ice melting from the freezer?

Or maybe the condensation drainage tube is blocked.
