You need to manually setup your router, do not use the web wizards.

Under the first option you want to select PPPOE as your connection type and type in your ISP username and password. Also select on the connect mode option as Always-on. Dont worry about the other items on that list. They will appear after you have connected to you ISP.

EDIT---------
Log into the router by opening a web browser and type the IP address of the router. The default IP address of the EBR-2310 is 192.168.0.1

This will open the routers configuration page.

I had the same difficulty x3 Do you have an cyber web cord hooking your modem and you router at the same time? Is the Modem nonetheless addicted to your cyber web? additionally, does your computing gadget have WiFi outfitted in? If no longer, you will want an Adapter. yet, I actually have a Netgear router and it works great. Im uncertain how your works, yet while it dosnt quickly, attempt taking it returned and getting Netgear. (no longer the modem. purely the Router. probable Adapter in case you dont have outfitted in WiFi)

It is simple; your modem will not work over a normal telephone. You have to have a "DSL" set up on the telephone. You will have to get hold of your local telecomm to see if you qualify for "DSL". You can only be less than 3 miles from where your telephone is hooked up physically.

The other thing is, you do not connect with a computer modem. You have to use what is called NIC Card, not modem.

How old are you?

Not to familiar with speedstream but it seems to me that you have two devices attempting to assign ip's (has DHCP running)

Ordinarily, I put the dsl router in transparent bridging mode and use the firewall/router to route the internet etc.

meaning the dsl router is dumb(net is passing through it) and you use the dlink in dhcp mode.

Here are some instructions for you http://forums.speedguide.net/showthread.php?t=156032

Hope that helps.

You need to go into internet explorer and type in 192.168.0.1 into the address bar. You should be set from there.
