that can happen if you are reading too long, it can go into automatic hibernation or depending on your settings, it can turn off, go to start, then click on control panel, click on something that says power options and you'll see all the options to choose from - if that's not it, if you are online, it may be you getting kicked out, that happens, just reboot and clean the system

Hi. This will happen if the notebook overheats. Try making sure that the ventilation is adequate. I use a breadboard under mine and this problem stopped.

Are you on power or on battery? If your display adapter is bad this can happen, assuming your battery is good.
