Well there is a thin yellow line (about a millimeter width) going across my monitor verticly (up and down). It is at 3/4 of my monitor to the left. I took a screen shot of my screen, checked it on paint and the yellow line wasn't on the picture so it's something with my monitor not my computer. I have tried to restart my computer I even took it out of the power outlet completely. Please help, it is a LG flatron 17 inch widescreen monitor and it is only about 3 months old.

Also today I found out about some website called www.tv-links.co.uk and looked and downloaded some kind of plugin, I don't know if this may have anything to do with the matter.

You have lost one of the column drivers that controls the display, so an entire column of red pixels and an entire column of green pixels think they need to be on all the time.

Get it replaced under warranty.

There should be a menu button on your monitor. Play around (all monitor menu's are different). Look for a "reset" or "factory default". You can take it to an electronic repair office, or get a new one. (using warranty) Electronics like that usually have a warranty for 90 days.

dirt or dust in your monitor can cause it to do that but if part of the chrystal, it is broken then it is bad and needs to be fixed. you should have a warranty.
