how has Bush restricted or limited opportunities for freedom in the USA?

Also, its crazy how you can judge by these answers how class peoples view on America is.
And to what "Jack Baur My Hero" said, I'm not whining about the freedom I'm just asking what this current president has done to INCREASE it AND what he has done to DECREASE it. (Laws, War in Afghanistan, etc)

He suspended Habeus Corpus. Has used war powers in impeachable ways. Coerced votes from the U.S. Senate. Lied to the American people so they would invade a country. Used torture against enemy combatants which violates the constitution, the geneva convention, and a dozen other treaties. He signed the patriot act which violates numerious amendments to the constitution.His administration helped out an undercover CIA agent whose husband found no connection between Saddam and african uranium sources. They then lied and said that the connection was real. Refused to use information from CIA and FBI stating no connection between al qaeda and Iraq. Concealed government documents that may shed light on possible lies the administration has told. Put a known criminal Ahmed Chalabi on payroll and used him as a terrorist source, he was later claimed to be an iranian spy. and there are many others...

Well lets go with the 1st question 1st. What he did to increase freedom one word Libby. Is a free man that is the only freedom that has came to pass since he was illegally put into office. As far as freedoms taken. Freedom of speech is in dire straights, We no longer have the privacy that was granted to all of us in the constitution, If by chance you are labeled as a terrorist you get no just day in court or legal representation.

Now the president can single handedly declare war with out the backing of the United Nations or congress.

So he has increased his own freedom.

He has made big business free of having to comply with any laws.

Well I can't tell you how he has enhanced opportunities, but he has suspended the Habious Corpus so he can torture people, and singed in the Patriot Act that has taken away freedoms from the American people...

The communist party is going to take over your country in time, don't fight the government this is what the communist want us to do, don't fall into their trap....The communist party is working with the Democrat Politicians, they are making fools of the American people! Open your eyes now don't wait until it's to late. Communist wants America to fall, thousands of Americans will lose their lives. President Bush is not working against us as the Democrat Politicians are trying to say....Communism- Senator Joe Mc Carthy Was Right; he was the most hated Senator for telling the truth. The Democrats hated him, and also Hollywood. What does Hollywood have to do with Communism after the Second World War? Hollywood was churning out a great deal of Communist Propaganda in film during that period which greatly influenced teenagers, as they're doing today.

maybe not the freedom you are thinking of but he definitely increased financial freedom. He helped bring the unemployment rates to a new low.

Impossible to judge in the present. This can only be judge historically. History will judge whether he has increased or decreased.
