i started my period on the 2nd and it was red medium flow but had no clumps (i usually have clumps-gross sorry :( ) then on the 3rd it was fairly normal all day but at night i went to change my tampon and there was barely anything there, so i just put a pad on to sleep in, when i woke up there was nothing, and today (5th) there has been very light brown spots. my period ALWAYS lasts for 6-7 days...

could i be pregnant? we have been trying for a while. :) please tell me what you think, and i apologize for being so graphic!

btw i just checked again, one single spot of brownish pink...? thats all there has been all day.

It could be a change in your diet...maybe stress.
To be sure it would not hurt to take a test. I had a little bleeding both my pregnancies.

Good luck.

It is possible. I would check a pregnancy test to be sure. I was the same way. I was late and we figured stress then I had an EXTREMLY light period for me that only lasted like a day then stopped. Then it happened 2 more times. It could be implation bleeding that you are experincing. I would say that if it isn't back to normal in a day or two then to check a pregnancy test or see your doctor, or both even. Because if you aren't pregnant it could be something else.

no offense but you got some stupid answers so far.

you COULD be pregnant, but there's no way to tell until you definitely have missed a period. read up on implantation bleeding at webmd.com

at any rate, i would wait about one week and then take an hpt to see what it says-- if it comes back negative just be patient for another 3 weeks until your period is supposed to make it's visit. if it comes, well there's your answer. if it doesn't, dont get too excited (i did this like 3 times when we were ttc) and wait for some positive test results.

best of luck! and i hope it's not a period, but just a little implantation bleeding!!

I am in the same EXACT predicament as you! Honey, you are most likely PREGO!!! We have been trying to have another baby, also. My period is always 7 days, and heavy. This time, my period started off brown, then by the 4th day, my period was really really light, then by day 5, it was gone. GONE! Where did it go? Don't ask me, but I definitely think you and I are about to have new bundles of joys in the months to come! Wish you the best!

Women's bodies are cyclic, directed by our hormones. There are the common changes we are familiar with, and sometimes, some are just plain wierd. What you describe is fairly normal, but you should always check with your gynecologist about any change. It's such a relief when you hear, "Oh, this is nothing, it's just a change."

Go to Planned Parenthood for help with this if you don't have a family physician, or medical benefits.
