Everytime when I sign out of myspace, it keeps saying "ieexplorer.exe-Application Error
The instruction at "0x7e1f9af3" referenced memory at (some numbers again)The memory could not be "read". Click on OK to terminate the program"

Can someone please help me how I could get rid of this pop-up from the IE? This always comes out whenever I sign out of myspace and when I close the browser. What should I do? Before this happened, I went to some spam site by accident and it probably got installed something but I'm not really sure..Can anyone help me? I already scanned for viruses and I already run ad-aware program but it still comes up.

It is a virus called "adblaster."

If your anti-virus doesn't pick it up, you can kill the process through task manager and delete the file manually. If you do it manually, make sure you also don't have a process called "adblaster.exe" in the task manager otherwise it will just recreate ieexplorer.

Do not confuse ieexplorer with iexplorer. Iexplorer is Interney Explorer. Ieexplorer (with that extra "e") is the virus.

You may also need to remove the file from windows startup and the registry if deleting the file doesn't work. It can be a pain to get rid of sometimes.
I would suggest trying a different anti-virus program to get rid of it.
You can download "avast" which is free and should work.

This site is very technical, but will tell you how to completely wipe it from the system manually. Be very careful though because if you do the wrong thing, you can mess up your system when screwing around in the registry. Back up your important files and only do this as a last resort.
