Depends on which morals you speak of......Sure Bill got a ******** and lied about it. Not really morally right, but has nothing to do with running the country.
GWB lied about war taxes and the Bin Ladens. I think those morals are the morals WE THE PEOPLE should focus on.
Let me just add that I would like to see Rove do some jail time but that will never happen in Bush's time; he proved that with Scooter.

A few points.
All Presidents have the power to commute or pardon, Bush One used it just as many times as Clinton, and pardoned just as many criminals, because....guess what? Only criminals need a pardon. The Department of Justice maintains a website, and you can look it up.
Libby was the lawyer for Mark Rich, the man Clinton pardoned that makes the right crazy.
Libby's commutation is perfectly legal, but the man was Chief of Staff to another man who is looking to eliminate the office that is charge with the oversight of secrets. When even the President abide by the rights of that office.
Clinton did his most controversial pardons when he left, that means he could not benefit from them, Bush is still in office and this also means he is willing to commute any of the other members of the inner circle if the judiciary gets too close to finding out something he doesn't want us to know. Now they all get the message that they won't be going to jail.
Its not a moral thing, its a practical thing, by allowing this we will never have the transparency that our government is supposed to have. Doesn't that bother you at all?

The BS Clinton caused when he was in office had nothing to do with how he was running the country. Bush, on the other hand can't accept the facts that his friend Libby broke the law when he was charged with perjury. We all, as citizens have the authority to criticize anybody who likes to take the constitution into their own hands and change the rulings. After all, Bush can do anything, he can tap into our phones without a warrant, and he can put a stop as to what we can say and can't say, don't even go there with moral authority because I can go all day on the policies in the Bush administration but I won't because I have better things to do than defend a man I never voted for. Thank you.

They have no right to even open their mouth with the amount of pardons he signed from 1993 to 2001, and if she gets in office, bet she does the same thing. They surround them self with criminals, these people give big money to get them elected, and I have no doubt that she will pardon more than even Bill did. All them fall guys they have been involved with, will be pardoned by her.
Two presidential pardons granted by Rodham’s brother-in-law. These weren’t part of Bill’s last minute specials; he approved them months before he left office.
In 2001
"Former President Bill Clinton's brother-in- law Tony Rodham helped obtain a presidential pardon for a Tennessee couple last March over the objections of the Justice Department, Mr. Rodham and lawyers involved in the pardon said today.
"Mr. Clinton pardoned Edgar Allen Gregory Jr. and his wife, Vonna Jo. The Gregorys, who live outside Nashville and own United Shows of America, a carnival company based in Smyrna, Tenn., were convicted of bank fraud in 1982, accused of using the assets of a bank they owned to give loans to friends."
The article went on to say that neither Rodham nor the Gregorys would disclose their financial relationship. Justice Department officials strongly objected, but Tony wasn’t clowning around. The carnies received their pardons.
Now he’s in the news again, which may not be good for Sister Hillary’s ambitions. It might remind voters how her brother Hugh Rodham had taken $400,000 in exchange for getting other people pardoned. One ran a cocaine ring. The other was convicted of business fraud and three years after his pardon from Clinton was sentenced to 18 months in prison for not paying millions in taxes.

English isn't your native language, is it?
Can you tell me who Marc Rich's criminal attorney (and I use the term advisedly) was?
Does "Scooter" Libby ring a bell?
The Clintons (and I include the unfortunate and criminal Roger) have FAR more moral authority than Bush The Lesser will ever catch sight of.
I'm still waiting to see a conservative post that doesn't contain "But Clinton. . . ."

Hillary didn't pardon or commute anybody yet.
Bill pardoned 400 something people but none that didn't serve anytime in prison, and none that were crucial to an investigation on his administration.
I guess there goes you moral authority argument, and that Leah is Libby.

Absolutely. Billy even pardoned his own brother
plus many other deadbeats, drug dealers, and
worse. How could he and Hilly dare criticize Mr.
Bush for his action on LIbby, who never was guilty.
Everyone in D.C. knew who Valerie Flame was
and that she was a CIA agent, so what's the big deal?
Another Democrat tactic to bring down anyone in
the Bush administration.

I agree with you but Hilliary is determined to get back into the White House no matter what... therefore she criticizes the President's every move even if her criticism harms the country, it's worth it to her if she gets elected... not that she's exactly an original on Capital Hill...
