Sorry to dissapoint beach, but in this case, you are dead wrong. I am me, real 100% here and in real life. what you see is what you get. No pretense or BS here my friend. But thanks for answering regardless.

I suppose that people sometimes find it very hard to accept their truth and try so hard to conceal it from others with a facade. I don't judge them though 'cause I've been there before. It's so hard to make sense all of these things, to get a grip of our identity. And you know, there is no such thing as being "real" all the time. We all pretend. We all act. Those who say they never do are lying. It's human nature and there is nothing wrong with it.

So this is who I am: a demented 24 year old brat. Sometimes I break things, sometimes I dance around my room naked. And other times I won't come out of my room for days at time. Right now this is my reality; maybe in a few years it won't be.

Sometimes, when people have doubts about acting the way they truly want, they'd think twice and end up conforming to the majority.

It sounds sad but some don't want to stick out like a sore thumb. A little more self-esteem, positivity and confidence would solve that right away.

Okay, I'll answer this honestly...

For the most part, I let people see the 'real' me.

BUT...sometimes I am a little unreal, simply because I HATE it if people dislike me...I've been like that my whole...
So, if I see something I need to do to make you like me more or whatever, I do it sometimes.

But I don't take it to extremes.
I'm pretty good at being true to myself.

Peer pressure and networking does not go with being real.

It isn't for me - but I think many people are afraid of being themselves because they don't think that they "fit" into the image of what society expects.

I am me, that is difficult enough without trying to be someone else.

Enjoy your day!

EDIT: Yes, what Haroula said too! ;o)

Sorry, but I've generally found that those who accuse others of not being "real" are charlatans themselves.
