How would one become "falsely" convicted? They usually have pretty good evidence to show that they violated someone and the law. Not in HS yet?? GOOD..get them early before they take it further than just molestation.

I think anyone who is falsely accused should be compensated. But only if the are completely innocent. Just because the judicial system say you are innocent, does not make someone innocent.

Sex offenders should be punished even if they are not in high school. They should also undergo some kind of counseling and be put away for a while. Stop them now, before they grow up molesting and raping.

It goes by the situation.

There are wrongfully accused people, and for them I feel sorry. For the ones that deserve their accusations, then they had better own up or pay the piper.

There are sex offenders that aren't in high school yet. And they deserve to pay for their crimes, just like adults do. But again, this depends upon the situation.

So basically, I can't offer you an exact answer, because I don't know the exact situation that you are inquiring about.

I think the ENTIRE concept of what a "sex offender" IS- needs to be revamped. There are more & MORE false accusations- that are ruining people's lives; and I think it's ABSURD that teenagers are lumped into the SAME catagory as Adults where penalties are concerned. And THEN there's the matter of Sentencing of Sex Offenders once they're convicted... -It's getting so that people are more afraid of one of THEM living on their Block- than if a murderer moves in! What's up with THAT??! :0

My 14 year old nephew in Bellevue, Nebraska molested my daughter last year. He was allowed by the court to plea bargin to 2 counts of Gross Sexual Imposition. His "punishment" was court ordered counseling and probation till the age of 18 - at which time his record can be sealed. He was slapped on the wrist -- nothing more. Oh, "sex offender" is a legal term... my nephew does not meet the standards for that label. Sooo none of the their neighbors, nor classmates, or anyone knows... What's my opinion -- the system stinks - it slaps these monsters in training on the wrist and lets them prey on others.... Those in Bellvue, Nebraska may be living next door to a monster, and they don't even know...

I think that even the justice system makes mistakes, but I would rather think that there are a few falsy convicted offenders on that list, rather than think there are 100 free and clear sex offenders, who aren't on it. We need to protect our communities and the people have a right to know.

it sucks to be them. My dad told me this story how one of his tenants to one of his rental houses is a sex offender, just because he went streaking in public or some stupid thing like that. I dont know. I dont believe all sex offenders will burn in hell though. Nobody is perfect. And people who say all sex offenders will burn in hell are insecure and are trying to hide their own flaws.

A crime is a crime, a child that does it will probably grow up to be an adult that does it. It is sad to hear of people being falsely accused of it that is for sure, as I know that would be devastating for them, they should be freed and all of the accusations removed from their records!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Falsely convicted ( without a doubt one ) should be freed. Other then that if your old enough to do the crime, your old enough to pay the price.
