Do you consider pedophilia a crime? Mark Foley, and

How about embezzlement? Ken Lay, Jim Bakker.
Insider trading (Harkin Energy) or desertion in a Time of War? How about criminal negligence in the 10 months before the attacks on Sept 11, 2001? George W. Bush (so if Bush is a "liberal [the most ridiculous claim I've ever heard in Y/A], just who DID vote for him his second term? You wuoldnt vote for a liberal, would you?).
Soliciting a prostitute? Jimmy Swaggert.
Infidelity? Or embezzlement again? Newt Gingrich.
Torturing people is a crime, is it not? Saying it's ok to torture people should be as well.

Well that's kind of a catch 22. Because anybody who says their a true conservative would be lying if they ever committed a crime. So no I guess I can't. Because everybody I list who says their a conservative that has committed a crime wouldn't really be a conservative by your definition...

Carl Rove, Scooter Libby, Dick Cheney. No doubt in my mind. Cheney has had to, or he wouldn't hide everything. Ronald Regan, lied through his teeth about Iran Contra. I don't recall? Perjury? True conservatives are like everyone else. Sinners. Lying is a sin too. And against the law in some cases. And no, I am not a liberal.

Your question is based on a circular argument. You're basically defining "true conservative" as a conservative who has never committed a crime!

Let me guess - whomever we name - you will claim is not a true conservative?
Bush, Libby, Nixon etc - suddenly not "true"conservatives. What a self serving argument.

Didn't George W. Bush get arrested for driving under the influence?
Not that I would label him a true conservative, more than a corporate lap-dog. His business ventures were either complete failures or only saved by socialist government policies that help business.... which is not very conservative by any standard.
I don't know if I would call the guy a liberal.... but he is certainly not conservative.... nor compassionate.

Bull. Nice try, but bull.
True Conservatives are human beings like everyone else.
ADDED: Don't buy into the hype. Conservatives are Conservatives. And they are trying to divide and conquer. I think it boils down to a misunderstanding in some cases, and total misrepresentation in others.

There is no answer to that because you would then counter with the response that they weren't "true" conservatives.
A better question would be "name a true conservative that hasn't committed a crime?"
Given the state of ALL politicians today, that seems to be an impossibility.
