Do exactly what the message says.

Right click on your drive then click on properties, then click on Tools tab, and click on check now. You may get a message that says you must reboot before the system can check the disk. Reboot. After the checkdisk completes and your system is fully booted then try the defrag again.

that message is telling you that you need to run the check disk utility because the defragmenter has found errors on you drive.
Follow this great link on how to run checkdisk. It gives you pictures and everything.

there is some fatal error occurred to your machine which automatically kicks check disk program. you should have stopped that check manually. Before you defragment your volumes you should be free with the fatal errors on your disks. reboot your machine which will run check disk program automatically. let it run, dont stop again manually.
