Why do so many males hate women?

If you are going to try to say that you hate us because you are 'better' than us, don't even try. Why would you hate something that you are supposedly better than?

I'm not saying all males hate us. Not at all. Trust me, I know an awful lot of people who don't hate women.

I just want to know what's wrong with the people who do hate women.

That is an awful big generalization. I know women who also hate men. For every guy I know that has a problem with a woman, I know 20 that like & love women.

I think a lot of men hate women because of bad past experiences. Particularly divorced men, where they have come to find the sad truth- the system is biased to women, and they can take almost anything from a man even if he has earnt it himself and swipe his life an children out from under him. I don't blame most men who are bitter over these sorts of things- wouldn't you be? They get a raw deal so much in certain areas.

In addition- I have also found time and time again that in divorce, women act SO selfishly it is discusting, particularly where children are involved, its like they don't get that the FATHERS love and need their own flesh and blood exactly as much as the women do.

There are a lot of good guys out there that would love you more than you would believe.

You are over-generalizing or socializing with boys who are too young to know how men relate to women as adults.

There are adult males who do hate women, but they usually hang out in places where most women with a reasonable amount of self-respect don't go.

i think some people, male or female, take things to an extreme.

they might have a hard time understanding our culture and the rigid roles placed within it traditionally or the contrast between the past and these changing times in our society. its a complicated topic and we all need to take the time to swallow it carefully. many changes that are new to our culture have dominoed into many other changes, good and bad. these things will be discussed and argued for years to come.

It works both ways. There are plenty of women who just hate men. I think the problem is with the individual who hates the opposite sex. Evidently they need a scapegoat for something that is most likely their own fault.

Inside of Yahoo! Answers, it is merely that it is those that hate women you are more likely to notice. They are still a small minority.

For the same reason some women hate men.Just to blame their problems on someone else.Until they run out of women/men to blame then they turn their angst inward.

people, not just men usually hate because they feel threatened by someone/something.
many people who are weak , try to control people who they feel are weaker than them, (usually women) in order to feel strong.that is a false sense of strength.
stay away from these kind of men. there are lots of men out there who respect and love women.

It's not that men hate women, it's that they don't respect them. This is due to a countless number of propaganda and advertisements that are shot at us every day that suggest it as being "okay" to reduce women to sex objects. This is why I have no respect for the occupational choices of porn stars or models.
Then there's the guys who tried to be nice but kept going for the wrong girls, so they have a cynical view of women., however those cases are somewhat rare.
